Commentary

And yet another school year comes to an end. This one was more for the audience than myself because I had actually "graduated" with my BS in Computer Science the semester before. I was sticking around for the Masters program which would take another year to complete.

This strip was also a last-minute rush job, which means I probably couldn't come up with anything better. Maybe I was struggling with some deadlines or maybe I was lazy.

Either way, I never bothered to scan it for the web and completely forgot it existed until I started working on this Bastich archive restoration project. What you see here is how I (probably) would have posted it, artifacts and all, if I had done so contemporaneously.

TITLE The Bastich By Hart

PANEL 1 (BASTICH flees as three sharp-toothed doglike creatures labeled "HOMEWORK," "FINALS," and "GRADUATION" chase him over a cliff. A helicopter drone hovers past the cliff's edge, holding an arrow-shaped sign pointing downward with the label "REAL WORLD".)
