[Fall 1995] Bastich's Three Wishes

Commentary

Here we have another silent comic. Poor Hacker-Lad and Faith's pleas just can't compete with Bastich's perverse fandoms.

However, I think Three Stooges PEZ dispensers would probably hold their value better than Faith's pile of cash and Hacker-Lad's dream workstations combined, so 'Stich made the right call here.

TITLE The Bastich By Hart

PANEL 1 (Bastich, Faith and Hacker Lad are walking outside as Bastich spots a magic lamp on the ground)

PANEL 2 (Bastich rubs the lamp eagerly)

PANEL 3 (A genie appears out of the lamp crossing his arms)

PANEL 4 (The genie holds up three fingers)

PANEL 5 (Bastich contemplates what his three wishes should be)

PANEL 6 (Hacker-Lad imagines a desk stacked high with computer systems, including workstations from Cray, SGI and DEC)

PANEL 7 (Faith imagines two huge money bags surrounded by piles of cash)

PANEL 8 (A light bulb appears over Bastich's head)

PANEL 9 (Later, Bastich is happily carrying three PEZ dispensers with the heads of Moe, Larry and Curly from the Three Stooges as Faith and Hacker-Lad angrily follow behind him)
